Her practice includes counselling and litigation in diverse topics, including wrongful termination, employment discrimination, retaliation, sexual harassment, and other employment related claims.
After obtaining her bachelor’s degree in psychology, Ms. Viera went to law school where she interned at the Federal Public Defender and the Federal Court for the District Court of Puerto Rico. She began her professional career as an associate in the labor and employment field. Her practice includes counselling and litigation in diverse topics, including wrongful termination, employment discrimination, retaliation, sexual harassment, and other employment related claims. Further, she provides guidance to clients in navigating settlement processes and extrajudicial claims and represents employers in different matters, before courts and administrative proceedings before the Puerto Rico Department of Labor and the Equal Employment Opportunity Counsel (EEOC), in both administrative and judicial forums.
