Karla Rivera-Rubio


Her practice includes counseling and litigation in diverse topics, including wage and hour laws, wrongful termination, employment discrimination, retaliation, sexual harassment, transfer of a going business, contracts and other employment related torts. She works in several asset purchase processes and transfers of business from a labor and employment perspective, union campaigns, collective bargaining and provide legal counseling and gives seminars in all areas of labor and employment law. She represents employers in different matters and administrative proceedings before the Puerto Rico Antidiscrimination Unit, the Conciliation and Arbitration Bureau, and the Office of Mediation and Arbitration of the Puerto Rico Department of Labor.

During law school, Mrs. Rivera served as a law clerk in the Puerto Rico Court of First Instance, San Juan Part, and was a member of the Association of Litigation of the Interamerican University of Puerto Rico, School of Law.
